As of March 2025, the Changi airport served 100 airlines operating 7,400 weekly flights scheduled for more than 160 cities in 49 countries and territories. With new routes such as Phu Quoc in Vietnam, Dali in China and the next new connection with Vienna in Austria, passengers now have even more output options for their trips. The airport will also continue to invest in infrastructure, systems and processes to improve capacity and support long -term growth in the Asia and Pacific region, the statement added.
The Singapore Changi airport, which welcomed approximately 67.7 million passenger movements in 2024, has been appointed the best 2025 world airport at the Skytrax World Airport Awards, held during the Expo of the passenger terminal in Madrid. Yam Kum Weng, executive director of Changi Airport Group, said: “In fact, it is gratifying to receive this recognition, and this certainly encourages us to continue fighting to promise the airport.”
Edward Plaistened, CEO of Skytrax, said: “It is a great achievement for Singapore Changi airport to receive the 2025 airport of the Higheveest Award Award, this is a 13th time record in the award -winning story.”
