Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme guidelines to be out in a few days: Ashwini Vaishnaw

The union cabinet approved the electronic component manufacturing scheme in March this year, with a financing of RS 22,919 million rupees, so that India is self -sufficient in the electronic supply chain.

With several government initiatives, the electronic manufacturing sector has experienced remarkable growth in the last decade. The electronic manufacturing capacity of India has embedded since the launch of the Make In India initiative, said the minister at the press conference.

The electronic production of India has increased five times in the last decade to overcome the 11 rupees of the rupees.

Exports worth RS 3.25 million electronics rupees have been carried out in the last decade, increasing six times.

The electronic manufacturing ecosystem has used 25 Lakh individuals, said the minister.

The minister said that a large group of talents and respect for intellectual property rights are working in favor of India.

“The happiest part of electronic manufacturing is that this ecosystem is becoming mature gradually. Design capabilities are improving,” said Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Regarding the manufacturing capabilities of the AI ​​server of India, the minister said that VVDN Technologies has sent 6,000 of these servers so far.

The “Make In India initiative has a real form now”, was complemented, speaking from the installation of VVDN Technologies “in Manesar.

He added that India is not only making electronics, but also the tools that engineers need to produce articles.

“The machines that make machines are also made in India, which is a very significant point. It was unimagable until a decade ago,” he said.
