The demand for air conditioners (ACS) is increasing day by day due to summer heat. This is expected to increase by 20 percent this season, according to reports.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that the BJP government will provide a free 5 -star air conditioning and 1.5 million AC since they have already prepared the leg. However, the verification of data from the Press Information Office (GDP) has clarified that the government has not made such an ad.

Through a publication on social networks about X, GDP reported: “A publication that is widely shared in the statements of social networks that under a new scheme ‘pm modi ac yojana 2025’, the government will provide free star air conditioners and have been raised of 1.5 million ACS.

What was the rumor about Free AC?

According to the reports, to encourage people to change old air conditioners and who leave energy to the most recent five -star, the Government of the Union is now intervening with a financial incentive program proposing. This program aims to reduce home electricity rates, relieve tension in the maximum duration of energy infrastructure and support the largest climate change objectives of India.

A house can save to RS 6,300 per year in energy expenses by replacing its obsolete air conditioning with a five -star model, according to the Energy Efficiency Office. Families would save money, and the national network would be less stressed, particularly in the hot summer months.

However, GDP says that the Government there is no such sacrifice.
