The Flipkart electronic trade market has finished its work policy from home (WFH), which requires employees to return to the office five days a week. The WFH agreement, which had been in force for five years, has now been discontinued. The company declared that the decision is part of its “natural progression after Covid” and aligns with the gradual return to the position that has been underway for approximately a year.
“In Flipkart, the vast majority of our employees and contractual concert workers have always operated since their workplace locations,” an official statement. “We have been doing a gradual return to the office (similar to the levels prior to CO-COVID) during the past year and have seen greater interactions, synergies and a deeper collaboration between the teams.
The company also pointed out that a return to the office will generate a strong sense of community among employees and align all with the shared objectives.
Flipkart had adopted the WFH model in 2020 turning the Covid-19 pandemic peak to guarantee employee safety. After the outbreak, the company made the transition to a hybrid model, presenting a three -day work week. Approximately in time, senior officials and higher level management were asked to increase their presence in office.
