Like the Xpulse 210 we recently presented, the new hero Xtreme 250r also launched in the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. We tested this last 250 cc motorcycle around Udaipur’s innate city to find out if it is an impressive style, which also looked equally better in the real world, represents its general performance.
It didn’t take me for a long time to appreciate the design of Xtreme 250r. Faithful to his name, the motorcycle seemed fast from all angles: his sharp beacon, the muscular tank and also its short and gridded tail, everything was added. It was the first time that I saw the motorcycle away from the foci, and I can say with confidence that it is the best attractive hero motorcycle.
The XTREME 250R works with a liquid cooled engine of 249.03 cylinders of 249.03 CC, which makes 29 hp at 9,250 rpm and 2.55 kg MA 7.250 rpm. It is surprisingly relaxed at city speeds, and I could find the exit of the streets of Udaipur while in the fourth march. A few kilometers later, when the traffic cleared and the roads were expanded, I finally had the opportunity to stretch Xtreme’s legs.
To my total surprise, when the tachometer reached 5,000 rpm in the sixth march and the speedometer indicated about 80 km/h, the 250R XTREME sent vibrations through the bicycle, from its handlebar, tank, seat, to the feet. That was disappointing, but as the quality of the road improved even more, the Xtreme showed its true caliber. I checked the statistics on the LCD screen on board to discover what made 0-60 km/h in 3.6 seconds, reaching the 100 km/h mark in just under 9 seconds, and simply recorded a maximum speed of 153 km/h in this execution. After 120 km/h, their vibrations were also greatly reduced.
How is it on bad roads? For a motorcycle that Hero claims to be the fastest in the 250 cc segment, the XTREME 250R addresses the bad roads easily. Only the big potholes and the speed blows made the rear rebound, but otherwise, the USD 43 mm forks and the rear monkey worked well. A quick change in a set of tight turns revealed the obvious rear tire reduction in the grip oulture. If it is addressed at slower speeds, the problem did not exist, but on a fun motorcycle, that probably is not the path it would choose. While the tires were not up tohe, the brakes worked well by making our tests. The Xtreme 250R comes with two ABS environments: road and race; The letter improves the arrest distance, claims hero.
Red the motorcycle for around 200 km, after which it is a fuel tank of 11.5 liters finally hitting the reserve, indicating that it was time for him to return to the base. Separated from its solid performance and its decidedly acute appearance, Xtreme 250r also obtains well in ergonomics. He never felt narrow, and there was enough space to get into a dominant posture when I needed to have total control. It is great to know what hero sacrifices with the Xtreme 250r to ₹ 1.8 Lakh, ex-showroom. Its performance, management and style work together to make this a very pleasant package.
