India dispatches second batch of BrahMos missiles to Philippines

India has also trained the staff of the Philippines in the management of cruise missile systems

India has sent a second batteries of Brahmos Supersonic Cruise Missile System to Fillippines, fulfilling its contractual obligation signed in 2022 between the two nations.

Last year, India had transported the first of the three batteries of the Brahmos missiles, with a range of 290 km and a speed of 2.8 Mach, as part of the $ 375 million worthwhile. It was the first export order for the missile system.

“This time, the missile system has been sent to the Philippines. Previously, it was delivered through the transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force,” the conscious sources of development said.

The EAU and the Saudi Arabi are some of the other countries that are also in contact with India to explore the possibility of obtaining Brahmos.
