Banks in India will be closed in most states on April 12, 13 and 14. They will open only on April 15.
The banks will be closed on April 12, since it is the second Saturday, and April 13, since it is a Sunday.
On April 14, which falls on Monday, it is a combination of several important days, such as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Vishu, Biju/Buisu Festival, Maha Vishuva Sankranti, Tamil New Year, Bohag Bihu and Cheiraoba.
Banks will be open in some states on April 14 (see the table below).
The banks will be closed on April 15 (Tuesday) also in Agartala, Guwahati, Itangar, Kolkata and Shimla because of the Bengali New Year’s Day/Himachal Day/Bohag Bihu.
