Banks in India are closed in most states on Monday, April 14.
This is the third consecutive day that banks have closed legs. The banks closed on April 12, since it was the second Saturday, and April 13, since it was a Sunday.
On April 14, which falls on Monday, it is a combination of several important days, such as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Vishu, Biju/Buisu, Maha Vishuva Sankranti, Tamil New Year, Bohag Bihu and Cheiraoba.
Banks will be open in some states on April 14.
The banks will be closed on April 15 (Tuesday) also in Agartala, Guwahati, Itangar, Kolkata and Shimla because of the Bengali New Year’s Day/Himachal Day/Bohag Bihu.
