Infosys & Spark New Zealand form AI-driven strategic IT partnership

Infosys and Spark New Zealand today announced a strategic agreement of IT collaboration intended to transform the Spark Technology Delivery Model through digital innovation. The Association will take advantage of the abilities of AI and Cloud of Infosys to reduce IT operational costs while accelerating the spark strategy of providing experiences of digital clients and AI.

Infosys Limited shares quoted ₹ 1,411.30 in ₹ 14.70 or 1.03 percent in the NSE today at 11.36 am

According to the agreement, Infosys will provide global software engineering and software engineering capabilities to build, test, integrate and deliver SPARK systems and applications. The Indian technological giant will also handle monitoring and support functions. SPARK will retain ownership of its IT assets and control over the technology architecture strategy, product design, innovation roadmap and commercial applications.

Matt Bain, Spark Data and Marketing Director, stressed that the expanded association is based on a 16 -year collaboration among companies. The agreement will allow Spark equipment to focus on the technological strategy and product roadmaps while taking advantage of the global infosys scale for efficient execution.

Raja Shah, EVP and the head of the Infosys global market industry, emphasized that their solutions will offer cost efficiencies and improve the experience of the client that attributed ideas and automation.

As part of the agreement, INFOSYS will strengthen its local workforce in New Zealand to complement its global operations while maintaining critical local support and experience.

Spark is the largest telecommunications and digital services company in New Zealand that provides mobile, broadband and digital bands throughout the country. Infosys, a world leader in digital services and consulting, employs more than 300,000 people worldwide.
