Macrotech Developers cuts net debt by 7% in March quarter to nearly Rs 4,000 crore on better sales

The net debt of the developers of the Macrotech real estate firm fell 7 percent in the quarter of January-March to almost 4,000 million rupees in solid sales of housing and collection of clients’ funds.

Macrotech developers, who sell properties under the Lodha brand, is one of the country’s main real estate developers.

In their latest operational update, Macrotech developers noticed that the company’s net debt was reduced by 320 million rupees duration of the quarter of January-March at RS 3,990 million rupees.

The company’s net debt stood at just over 4,300 million rupees at the end of December 31, 2024.

The reduction has been achieved despite the important investment in the acquisition of land plots for future development.

The company buys land directly and is also associated with owners to develop housing projects.

The internal cash flow of Macrotech developers remained strong in the last fiscal year due to record sales and collections of healthy clients.

Macrotech developer sales reserves grew 21 percent last year in a record of RS 17,630 million rupees, from RS 14,520 million rupees in the financial year 2023-24.

Its customer collection grew by 29 percent to RS 14,490 million rupees last fiscal year, from RS 11,260 million rupees in tax 2023-24.

Strong sales and collections helped the company in a significant investment in land acquisitions.

Duration The complete 2024-25 prosecutors developers, Macrotech, acquired 10 land plots in MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region), Bengaluru and Pune to develop housing projects.

The next projects in these new 10 land plots will have a total income potential of RS 23.7 billion rupees.

Macrotech Developers LTD has a significant presence in the real estate markets of MMR, Pune and Bengaluru.

Residential Development of Besids, the company is building industrial and logistics parks in the main cities. It also builds office and retail real estate spaces.

Macrotech developers led by Abhishek Lodha recently resolved their dispute with House of Abhinandan Lodha, a company formed by its younger brother.

Since January of this year, the two companies have participated in a legal battle on the use or brand ‘Lodha’.

Macrotech developers will continue to use the ‘Lodha’ brand, while the younger brother will continue to operate under the ‘House of Absinandan Lodha’ brand.

In January, Macrotech developers filed a lawsuit at the Superior Bombay Court against Hoabable for violation of their registered trademarks and sought appropriate precautionary measures, reliefs and damage.

The Lodha Group and Abhinandan Lodha’s house (Hoabl) have no connection with each other. Both entities will communicate this widely.

Abhinandan Lodha has no rights or claims in the Lodha group or Macrotech developers or other Abhishek businesses.

Similarly, Abhishek has no rights or claims in Hoabl or other A Abhinandan businesses, according to agreements between the two parties.
