Mamata welcomes SC order extending services of untainted terminated teachers, teachers express dissatisfaction

Main Minister of Western Bengal Mamata Banerjee

While the Supreme Court extended on Thursday the services of the finished teachers found without mentality, the West Bengal Prime Minister, Mamata Banerjee, welcomed the order stating that there was now a “sense of relief.”

Several districts in Bengala witnessed generalized protests as a section of non -teaching teachers and employees in the verdict of the Supreme Court.

Taking note of the presentations, the Supreme Court said that it will grant the extension of the service only to the un contaminated teachers, but it will not apply to the employees of grades C and D of the Government and Assistant Schools.

“We are happy with the order of the Supreme Court. There is a feeling of relief with the court order. I would ask teachers not to worry, the problem will be resolved,” Banerjee told journalists in Kolkata.

The non -contaminated teachers, whose services were temporarily extended by the Supreme Court, however, expressed dissatisfaction in what they called as a “short -term relief.” They affirmed that only permanent restoration would bring them justice.
