The Department of Consumer Affairs has introduced new regulations under the rules of Legal Metrology (General), 2011, designed to improve road safety and guarantee equity in the application of the Traffic Law. As of July 1, 2025, these rules will grant the agencies for the application of the law and the law sufficient time to comply with the new standards.
