NIIT acquires majority stake in Coimbatore-based iamneo

TI Skills Development Enterprise Niit LTD has announced the acquisition of a 70 percent participation in Iamneo, a provider or training solutions in deep skill technology through a Saas platform with AI.

The transaction was approved by the Board of Directors of NIIT at its meeting on April 17, 2025.

According to the agreement, NIIT will acquire the 30 percent participation in the phases of the Iamneo promoters, based in Coimbatore, subject to agreed financial achievements or milestones.

Subsidiary or niit

After the acquisition, Iamneo will work as a subsidiary of NIIT, with the Iamneo founding leadership team that continues in its existing roles.

Based in Coimbatore, Iamneo offers a SAAS Skilling platform for university students in universities and early career professionals in global system integrators (GSI) and global capacity centers (GCC).

The resulting organization aims to deliver scale learning solutions for university students and early career professionals. It will also provide programs for incorporating talents and locking employees, IT skills evaluations and campus recruitment management.
