Nippon India MF solves cyber attack issue

Nippon India Asset Management Company, one of the largest fund houses, has reported that the cyber attack on its website has been resolved and all its IT infrastructure is in operation.

On April 10, the Fund House reported a cyber security incident on its website and the company had closed and isolated all its systems.

From then on, he begged the restoration activity with the help of cyber security experts.

On Monday, the company restored the central operating systems for fund management on the next business day.

Subsequently, the restoration of the mobile application and the website were the tasks.

“We would like to inform that mobile applications and company’s website are now completely functional and operate normally,” he said.

Duration The inactivity time, the client was requested to make transactions through alternative channels that were not completely affected during this period.

In general, there was no material impact on the company’s operations due to this incident, he added.

Among the 10 main fund houses, Nippon India MF led the list of mutual funds with the maximum gain in the management of the last fiscal year despite the turbulence of the capital market.
