North Korean leader Kim Jong supervised the nation’s Air Force exercises and stressed the need for a step forward in the preparation of the war, state media said on Saturday.
Kim, who inspected the anti -aircraft and air attack exercises of the First Air Division of North Korea on Thursday, requested “all units throughout the army” to achieve “an advance in the preparation of war,” Kcna said.
The images of the television exercises of the state of North Korea showed a MIG-29 plane that launched a missile, which seemed to be a version of North Korea of a long-range air missile developed by Russia, said Hong Min, an analyst at North Korea in the Korea.
So far this month, Kim has supervised a missile test, inspected tanks and ammunition plants, made a rare visit to the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang reaffirming the country’s alliance with Russia and the supervised training of tank fir operations.
North Korea also criticized the United States Department of State for placing it in a list of countries that do not cooperate completely with the United States counterattack efforts. Pyongyang has been placed on the list every year since 1997, said the Yonhap news agency of South Korea.
