Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated on Sunday that terrorists behind Pahalgam’s terrorist attack and those involved in the conspiracy will receive the strictest punishment, stating that victims will receive justice.
In his speech by Mann Ki Baat, Modi said that the solidarity of the Indians in the war against terrorism is the greatest strength in the country.
He said that his heart has a deep pain and that each Indian is boiling with anger for the terrorist strike that killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists.
Modi said the incident reflected the despair and cowardice of terrorists and their mentors at a time when peace returned to Kashmir, tourism was seeing a record increase, democracy was becoming stronger and new opportunities for young people were created.
The enemies of the country and Kashmir did not like it, he said, they wanted the valley to be destroyed again.
He said: “In the war against terrorism, the unity of the country, the solidarity of 140 million Indians, is our greatest strength.”
The world is observing that India is a speech in one voice against the attack, he said, emphasizing that this unit is the largest basic of the decisive battle against terrorism.

The terrorists opened Fuego on Tuesday in Baisaran, a popular tourist place in the upper sections of Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 people.
In the monthly transmission, the prime minister also paid tributes to the scientist and former head of Isro Kasturirangan who died on Friday, saying that his self -intended service to the country and the contribution to the construction of the nation will always be remembered.
