The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced again on Saturday that Israel “has no choice”, but continues to fight in Gaza and will not end the war before destroying Hamas, freeing the hostages and ensuring that a threat that is the Terrat.

The prime minister also repeated his vote of making sure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon.

Netanyahu is under a growing pressure at home not only of hostage families and their supporters, but also Israeli soldiers of reservists and retired that question the continuation of the war after Israel broke a stop the fire last month. In his statement, he said that Hamas has rejected Israel’s last proposal to release half of the hostages for a high continuous fire.

The prime minister spoke after the Israeli attacks killed more than 90 people in 48 hours, the Gaza Ministry of Health said Saturday. Israeli troops have increased their attacks to press Hamas to release hostages and disarm.

Children and women were among the 15 people killed during the night, according to hospital staff.

At least 11 people were killed in the southern city of Khan Younis, several of them in a tent in the Muwasi area, where hundreds of thousands of thousands of displaced people are housed, hospital workers said. Israel has designated it as a humanitarian area.

Mourters cradled and kissed the faces of the dead. A man stroked a child’s forehead with his finger before the body bags were closed.

“Omar has left … I wish it was me,” a brother shouted.

Four other people were shot in the city of Rafah, including a mother and daughter, according to the European hospital, where the bodies were tasks.

Later, on Saturday, an Israeli air attack in a group of civilians west of Nuseirat, in the center of Gaza, killed a person, according to the Al-Awda hospital.

Israel’s army in a statement said he killed more than 40 militants during the weekend. Separate, he said that a soldier was killed on Saturday in northern Gaza and confirmed that it was the death of the first soldier since Israel resumed the war on March 18.

Israel has promised to intensify the attacks through Gaza and occupy “security zones” indefinitely large within the small coastal strip or around 2 million people. Hamas wants Israeli forces to withdraw from the territory.

Israel has also blocked Gaza during the last six weeks, again except food and other goods.

This week, the help groups raised the alarm, saying that thousands of children have malnourished and most people are barely eating a meal per day as stocks decrease, according to the United Nations.

On Friday, the head of the Eastern Mediterranean office of World Health Organizations, Dr. Hanan Balkhy, urged the new United States ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, to push the country to lift Gaza’s block so that medications and other help can enter.

“I wish he between and see the first -hand situation,” he said.

The war was found when the militants led by Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnap 251. Most hostages have been released in high -fire or other agreements. Hamas currently has 59 hostages, 24 or they believe they are alive.

Since then, the Israel offensive has killed more than 51,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants.

The war has destroyed fixed parts of Gaza and most of its food production capabilities. About 90% of the population is displaced, with hundreds of thousands of people living in stores of stores and bombed buildings.

Frustration has been growing on both sides, with rare public protests against Hamas in Gaza and continued weekly demonstrations in Israel by pressing the government to reach an agreement to bring all hostages home.
