PM lays foundation stone for new terminal building at Maharaja Agrasen Airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed on Monday the cornerstone of the new building of the terminal, which will appear at Maharaja Airport Agrasen in Hisar, Haryana, which is worth more than ₹ 410 million rupees.

Symbolizing the direct link between the sacred land of Shri Krishna and the city of Lord Ram, Prime Minister Modi announced that flights to other cities will begin Sonoon.

While heading to a meeting to commemorate the event, Prime Minister Modi described the placement of stones at the base of the new terminal building at the Hisar airport as a step towards the elevation of Haryana as new heights.

“Hisar airport will raise the aspirations of Haryana’s youth, providing new opportunities and dreams,” said Prime Minister.

The new building of the Maharaja Agrasen airport will include a latest generation passenger terminal, a load terminal and an ATC building.

The prime minister emphasized that almost 90 airfields have been connected under the regional connectivity UDAN scheme, with more than 600 operational routes, which allows to travel in an affordable air for many.

In addition, he commented that this has led to record numbers or annual air travelers.

In addition, he stressed that several airlines have made record orders to a sum of 2,000 new aircraft, which will create numerous works for pilots, hostesses and other services. In addition, the aircraft maintenance sector will also generate important employment opportunities.

“Our government is focusing on connectivity to the time that guarantees the well -being of poor and social justice, fulfilling the vision of Babasaheb Ambedkar and the aspirations of the constitution’s editors,” the prime minister emphasized.
