PM Modi talks to Musk, revisits key topics discussed during US visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked Tesla and the CEO of Spacex, Elon Musk, to discuss issues related to technological collaboration with others.

This discussion took place at a time when the United States vice president would be in India for an official-private visit from March 21 to March 24. Vance will meet with Prime Minister Modi on April 21, 2025.

At the same time, the Indian team probably visits the USA next week to prepare the land to launch formal negotiations on its bilateral commercial agreement (BTA). The visit is produced in the midst of virtual discussions between experts in India and the United States, which is earlier this week. After virtual dialogues, formal conspirations would begin when negotiators meet physically in the last part of May.

Modi-Musk’s discussion is also important since the latter’s Spacex plans to enter India. The American company has already associated with two leading Indian CHDOS, Airtel and Jio. In addition, Tesla de Musk is exploring opportunities to enter the Indian electric vehicle market.
