Profile: Meet Aarthi Subramanian, the new COO of TCS

When Aarthi Subramanian intervenes in the role of President and Director of Operations of Tata Consultancy Services on May 1 over the next five years, he will not only exchange his non -executive position at the Board to an executive position, but also the first comp.

He assured that conglomerate companies could take advantage of digital technologies to improve operational efficiencies and obtain a competitive advantage.

Subramanian, who has a master’s degree in engineering management at Kansas University, has extensive experience in technology and operations.

It is also at the Board of several companies within the group, such as Tata Capital, Tata Aia Life Insurance and Infiniti Retail. She has contributed to them by improving their digital abilities.

By appointing Subramanian for CO’s position to boost the transformation of technology, TCS has chosen the person with the most extensive experience in that area.
