Swiggy to post job opportunities for gig workers on National Career Service portal

The Ministry of Labor and Employment and Swiggy signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Tuesday to improve the employment and logistics employment opportunities through the National Carretal Service portal (NCS).

The MOU will allow Swiggy to integrate its concert opportunities, including delivery, logistics and support roles, in the NC portal.

This real-time integration will improve the visibility of concert work for NCS users, which will benefit from timely and verified job opportunities in urban and semi-life areas, the ministry said in a statement.

API -based integration will guarantee real -time work publications and monitoring the perfect applications for users, according to the MOU.

It will focus on inclusive hiring, particularly promotion opportunities for young people, women and those looking for flexible work, the ministry said.

The association is expected to support structured incorporation, digital empowerment and awareness of workers’ well -being schemes.

The MOU was signed in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Employment of the Union, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State for the Union of Labor and Employment, Shobha Karandlaje.

In his speech, Dr. Mandaviya declared: “The National Professional Services portal is a dynamic platform that connects employment applicants and employers throughout India. The Ministry said that more Mou will be signed with private employers/portals, other leading employment and concerts to close the gap between employment applicants and the employment of the private sector, which allows a holistic approach to public-private coordination in employment facilitation.
