A 37 -year -old pastor was arrested by a special team for allegedly assaulting two minor girls last year, police said Sunday.
John Jebaraj, a shepherd of the Kings generation church here was collected from the Iduki district of Kerala by the special team of the Central Police Station of Gandshipuram All Women and was taken to Coimbatore, police sources said.
“He has arrested the bones under the Pocso Law (protection of children of sexual crimes). He was in Kerala,” said a police officer to PTI.
According to the Police, he allegedly assaulted the two girls in a function in their residence last year.
While the incident did not come to light, one of the family members of the victims who recently learned of him, they informed the police, they added.
