The Port Authority of Visakhapatnam (VPA) is establishing a Unified Art State Command Control Center (UCCC) as a centralized center to coordinate the entire port ecosystem with next -generation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI).

“The UCCC Will Be a Future-Ready Infrastructure and Will Be AA Single Interface for Customs, Shipping Lines, Rail Authorions, and Other Port -users to Streamline Coordination and reduces administrative administrative. Readytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytyty You can adopt, “” Madhaiyan Angamuthu, president, VPA said Business line.

The VPA is working with the National Institute of Governance Smart (NSIG) for the next center that will be completely ready in the next six months.

The UCCC will help reduce the time of operational inactivity in the port through predictive ideas, which can lead to the prior to the sentence of the failures of the equipment and the traffic bottlenecks in the port. There will also be a better compliance and security combining drone surveillance, multispectral images and IoT sensors, “said the president of VPA.

Key components

The key UCCC components will be multispectral cameras. With AI/ML EDGE computing capabilities, will the road rail crossings, loading courtyards and terminals monitor. Drones food will increase this coverage, particularly for larger or difficult areas.

For the IoT sensor sThe design data of the litera equipment (mooring hooks, cranes, front loaders) will feed on predictive maintenance models, reducing the inactivity and repair time costs.

“The UCCC will interact with the POS application for shipping and loading operations, the Navy of the National Logistics Portal (NLP) for the coordination of interested parties and the ULIP portal for the monitoring of the containers. This integrated view is immediately delivered to the entire port.

For greater security, a specialized module within the UCCC will handle emergency alerts, providing step -by -step climbing procedures for events such as traffic accidents, railroads of rail or environmental risks. “Automatic notifications can be activated to the relevant departments and external agencies that have an answer,” he said.

The continuous land management platform promoted by AI/mL of VPA will feed on the UCCC for lease monitoring, monitoring of rental collection and the detection of unauthorized land use.

VPA’s trip to an intelligent, transparent and ready port for the future is illustrated through its perfect ERP integration, the adoption of NLP-Marine and real-time management platforms such as the Book of Electronic Measures (EMB). The Unified Command Control Center repeats the next logical step for us, “said Angamuthu.
