– 9 percent faced mobile internet problems

The most affected cities included New Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai and Pune.

Internet users react

As expected, users turned to the social media platform X (formally Twitter) to express their frustration.

A user asked: “Are people still using VI (Vodafone idea)? It seems that the network is completely inactive.”

Another tweeted: “What’s wrong with Vodafone’s idea? There is no network since 00:30 in New Delhi. What are we supposed to do? Paying higher charges for such poor services.”

A third comment said: “I have no high expectations for the idea of Vodafone; they should be less to provide a 2G network at the cost of 5G. It is a strange not able to make calls or use Internet services for hours.”

Some users even reported that multiple SIM cards in prepaid and postpaid services were showing ‘Solo Emergency’, without a signal after restarting their phones.

While the services have now been restored, the interruption has increased once again on the reliability of the VI network, especially at a time when customers are charged more, it says that the quality of the service is decreasing.
