Wipro Q4FY25 curtain raiser: likely to guide for sluggish Q1FY26 growth

Amid the Macroeconic Conerns, it is important that Wipro will announce its financial results for Q4Fy25 on April 16. The company is also expected to guide for a growth of -1% to 1% for Q1Fy26, reflecting the fourth quarter, as uncertainty of the market. Here are some other key considerations:

Income growth

In the third quarter, the revenues of the operations were at ₹ 22,319 million rupees, register a growth or 0.1 percent qoq. A stockbroker survey suggests that the company is likely to report ₹ 22,208 -₹ 22,670 million rupees in Q4Fy25, with a growth QOQ or -0.4 percent to 0.8 percent in terms of CC.

Margins and guidance

Wipro is expected to guide for a CC qoq CC -1 percent growth to 1 percent for Q1Fy26, similar to Q4Fy25, given the return of uncertainty and deceleration in decision making in the United States.

An ICICI Securities report attributed the improvement of the QOQ margin of 22bps to the change of roles from the site to the optimization of the employee’s pyramid, productivity in fixed pricing contracts and the margin synergies of the integration of newer acquisitions.

The JM Institutional Financial Securities brokerage firm said in its report: “Wipro’s growth will continue to be the best among the five main ones, probably an assistant for impulse sustained in Capco, which will be partially compensated by softness.

Offers and conversions

In Q3Fy25, Wipro’s total reserves were $ 3.5 billion, and the reserves of large agreement were $ 0.96 billion. For this quarter, the company is expected to report a healthy great offer TCV, backed by the GBP 500 million agreement with Pheonix Group.

With improved client conversations, it is likely that the TCV and Total TCV are in line with the quarterly average execution rate of $ 1.1 billion and $ 3.5 billion, respectively. This should also improve the visibility of income for the company to reach fiscal year 26.

Hiring and wear

At the beginning of fiscal year 2015, Wipro announced plans to hire 10,000-12000 employees last the prosecutor. However, it is likely to remain cautious with the hiring given the limited visibility of the demand.
