With Elon Musk announcing his visit to India, Centre likely to fastrack on clearing files for Starlink, Tesla

With Tesla and the executive director of Spacex, Elon Musk announcing his visit to India at the end of this year, it is likely that Center debates the processes of licensed to Starlink and also some clarity of the entry of Tesla cars in the country.

The development occurs after a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Musk on Saturday by phone.

“It was an honor to speak with Prime Minister Modi. I hope to visit India at the end of this year!” Musk posted in X in a response to the ways.

On Saturday, after talking to Musk, Modi published in X saying that the two discussed wand issues, including the issues that covered the meeting in Washington DC in February.

“I talked to @elonmusk and talked about several issues, including the issues that we cover the duration of our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense collaboration potential in the areas of technology and innovation. Domains.” Modi said in his publication in X.

Collaboration in Technology and Innovation

The comments of the technology billionaire occurred one day after him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke and discussed the immense potential for collaboration in technology and innovation.

Currently, the Indian government is working to licensed Musk’s satellite communication services: Starlink, with the Telecommunications Department (DOT) and the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MHA), which is expected to be son.

For satellite services, the government emphasized that the details/ information of Indian clients should not leave the country. The specification is that landing stations must be located within the Indian airspace and data centers must reside within India.

Meanwhile, the sources also said that Starlink has presented its formal acceptance of the conditions established by the government to obtain the license so that it can launch its services.

Government sources said that once Starlink obtains the license, satellite services can be launched simultaneously with other players such as Alytel Onweb and Mikesh Ambani’s Jio Space technology.
