Vice President JD Vance accused the governor of California, Gavin Newsom, and the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass on Friday, of encouraging violent immigration protests, since she used her appearance in Los Angeles to refute the criticism of state and local officials that the Trump administration fed the disturbances by sending federal officers.

Vance Alo referred to us Sen. Alex Padilla, the first Latin senator of the State, such as “Jose Padilla”, a week after the Democrat was forced tasks in the field of officers and handcuffed after talking with a Los Angeles press conference by the name Kristi of National Security on immigration rays.

“I expected José Padilla to be here to ask a question,” said Vance, in an apparent reference to the altercation in the Neem event. “I think he decided not to appear because there was a theater. And that’s it.”

“They want to be able to go to their furious left and say:” Look, I, I faced the border application. I faced Donald Trump, “Vance added.

A spokesman for Padilla, Tess Oswald, said in a publication on the social networks that Padilla and Dere were previously colleagues in the Senate and said that Vance should know better. “It should be more concentrated in demilitarizing our city than making cheap shooting,” Oswald said.

Vance’s visit to Los Angeles to tour a federal multi -legal joint operations center and a mobile command center occurred when the demonstrations calmed down in the city and a curfew was built this week. That followed approximately one week of sometimes violent clashes between protesters and police and vandalism outbreaks and looting that followed immigration raids throughout the south of California.

Trump’s office of his main emissary to Los Angeles in a moment of agitation that surrounds the Israel-Iran war and the future role of the United States in you indicates the political importance Trump gives to his hard line immigration policies. Vance echoed the hard rhetoric of the president towards the Democrats of California.

“Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass, when treating the city as a sanctuary city, have basically said that this is the season open in the application of the Federal Law,” Vance said after the tour of the federal immigration compliance offices.

“What happened here was a tragedy,” Vance added. “You had people who were the simple work of enforcing the law and the governor and the mayor gave the uproar, which made it difficult for them to do their job. That is shameful. And that is why the president has responded with such force.”

Izzy Gardon, said in a statement: “The vice president’s claim is categorically false. The governor has constantly condemned violence and made his position clear.”

Speaking at the City Council, Bass said that Vance was “throwing lies and nonsense.” She said that hundreds of millions of dollars were wasted by the federal government in a “trick.”

“How do you dare to say that city officials encourage violence? We kept peace,” Bass said.

José Padilla is also the name of a terrorism conspirator of Al-Qaeda convicted during the administration of President George W. Bush, who was sentenced to two decades in prison. Padilla was arrested in 2002 at the O’Hare International Airport in Chicago during the tense months after September 11 attacks and accused of the mission of “dirty bomb.” Later it arose through the American interrogation of other suspects of Al Qaida that the “mission” was just an incomplete idea, and those statements never arose in the case of terrorism of southern Florida.

Responding to the indignation, Taylor de Kirk, a spokesman for Vance, said about the vice president: “He must have mixed two people who have violated the law.”

Federal immigration authorities have been increasing trial throughout the country to fulfill Trump’s promise of mass deportations. Todd Lyons, the head of the application of immigration and customs of the United States, has defended their tactics against criticism that the authorities are being too heavy.

The friction in Los Angeles was on June 6, when federal agents made a series of immigration sweeps in the region that have continued since then. In the midst of the protests and on the objections of state and local officials, Trump ordered the deployment of approximately 4,000 troops from the National Guard and 700 Marines to the second largest city in the United States, a home of 3.8 million people.

Trump has said that without the participation of the military, Los Angeles “would be a crime scene like us in years.”

Newsom has represented military intervention as the beginning of a much broader effort of Trump to overcome political and cultural norms in the heart of the democracy of the nation.

The earliest Friday, Newsom urged Vance to visit the victims of the January mortal forest fires, while in southern California and talk to Trump, who earlier this week suggested that his dispute with Nor could influence his help of $ in his help of $ in his help of $ in his help of his help to his help of $.porting our work.
