The NBA Play-in Tournament 2025 was tipped on Tuesday and although both no. 7 seeds preceded, the results were far from predetermined, in particular in the Western Conference, where the Golden State Warriors barely survived the Memphis Grizzlies.

Here is a reca of day 1 of the play-in tournament:

Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry threw their arms around each other and hugged.

Playoff Jimmy in all its sparkle on the big stage took all the pressure from Curry, and now they take the Golden State Warriors to the Play -offs.

“I know I want to win a championship, so he has something, this WASO no. 5?” Said butler.

Butler had 38 points, seven rebounds and six assists that create opportunities on Bient Even Chance, Curry scored 37 and the Warriors earned the seventh seed in the Western Conference by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116 on Tuesday evening in the Play-in Tournament.

Curry laid down a baseline 3-Pointer with 1:50 and one of the left wing with a minute on the clock converted four free throws in the clossen five seconds.

Golden State is now heading for a best-of-sevent first round series with the rockets that starts with Game 1 on Sunday in Houston.

“It cost 83 games, but we are exactly where we want to be, which is back in the play -offs and we have a chance,” said coach Steve Ker.

After a few free throws through Curry with 5.4 seconds, the Grizzlies had one last chance, but Santi Aldama could not income for a five -second violation.

Desmond Bane scored 30 points and yes Morant 22 for Memphis, who goes home to play on Friday against the winner of the Mavericks-Matchup on Wednesday evening in Sacramento to determine the eighth play-off place.

With the grizzlies on a roll halfway through the third handle butler momentum back with a stem and dunk. He shot 12 for 20 in a second consecutive 30-point version and his highest score game since he joined the Warriors at the Handelsdeadline. He made 12 of 18 free throws – after 63 of 68 from the line during the previous eight games in April.

Morant went down hard and only rolled his judge when he held Buddy stepped and was transferred by Quinten Post with 4:25 in the third but stood up and finished the three-point game to pull the grizzlies within 82-81.

Years Jackson Jr. Scored 18 points, while Zach Edey contributes 14 points, 17 rebounds and two free throws over with 14.3 seconds.

Curry had eight rebounds, four assists and shots 9 for 22, while he regularly through Scotty Pips Jr. Was gushed before he carried out it late.

Curry had scammed the Grizzlies for 52 points on their home floor in a 134-125 victory on April 1, and the Grizzlies made him a top priority that took this time-so butler.

“He’s different,” said Drayond Green.

He led four consecutive scoring assets to post the Warriors at Gary Payton II’s Cutting Dunk in the first fifteen minutes assistant, to post Dishing for 3 and to make it on 3-point shot and three-point game. Butler did not show any signs of affected by the tender left quadriceps muscle after taking a knee from Kawhi Leonard on Sunday.

The Warriors hoped to avoid this extra match, but lost in the extension of the clippers in the regular season finale on Sunday for their third home restriction during the last week.

Curry, Green and the Warriors were 0-3 in play-in games during appearances in 2021 and last year. They eliminated the Grizzlies in Chase Center with overtime victory in ’21 on 117-112.

Orlando Magic-Stars Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner engaged Tuesday’s NBA Play-in game with an average combined 60-plus points against the Atlanta Hawks this season. But while the two stugs to find their attack, the bank’s bank got up and led to a win of 120-95.

Cole Anthony came from the bank to lead Orlando with 26 points and six assists, while Anthony Black scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting and a game-high plus-34 was in 28 minutes. With the victory, the magic will move forward to play in a first round Playoff series against the Boston Celtics from Sunday in Boston.

After it had jumped into an early head start of double digits, it seemed that the magic would cruise that would be 7-seed, but the hawks saw out of the break. The margin reduced to 71-68 by another three minutes in the third quarter when the Orlando attack became cold. It is common for magic to have bad offensive pieces during games and that will be a problem to get ahead. It brought down Alamost on Tuesday, but they kicked in gear and did not let Atlanta conquer the lead before the Hawks blow out of the water in the fourth quarter.

The Magic Te makes their lack of offense well with one of the best defenses in the NBA. That could be seen on Tuesday when they held the Hawks to 38.1% shooting from the field and 19% from 3-point range. While Young ended up with 28 points, he was an ine-factor 8–ar-quart

Bancer ended with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, but Orlando needs more from him if it wants a chance against Boston.
