How many teams do the NBA play -offs make?
Sixteen teams In total, the NBA play -offs, eight teams from both the Eastern and the Western Conference. The top six seeds in each conference preface based on the regular seasonal record. The last two seeds in each conference are determined by the NBA Play-in Tournament.
