The WNBA design of 2025 took Paca on Monday and, as expected, former Uconn Huskies star and NCAA champion Paige Bueckers generally went to the Dallas Mavericks.
But how did the rest of the first round of the design shook? Here is a look at the picks of the first round in the WNBA design, in order of selection:
1 – Dallas Wings: Paige Bueckers, Uconn
The 5-foot-11 guard from Hopkins, Minnesota, is considered a generation player. Bueckers on average 19.9 points and shot 41.9% from behind the 3-point line this season. Bueckers was one of the most efficient players in college basketball and this season played 38 games for the national Huskies champion and 123 in her career. She will combine with Arike Ogunbowale in the defense of the Vleugels. Bueckers was the 2021 AP player of the year and a triple AP All-American.
2 – Seattle Storm: Dominique Malonga, France
The 6-foot-6 center played for the French Olympic team last year and has a bright future in the WNBA. They on average so far 15.0 points and 10.3 rebounds this season while playing for Lyon. She is 19 and does not turn 20 not -nile November. But Malonga gave a glimpse of her dazzling athletics last fall, Dunk for Lyon.
3 – Washington Mystics: Sonia Citron, Notre Dame
Citron is on 6-foot-1 guard. She on average 14.1 points and 5.4 rebounds during her career at Notre Dame, where she worked hard enough on her defense to become one of the best defenders in the team. She also shot more than 90% from the Free World Line in the past two seasons, one of the best percentages in the country. Citron started 107 of 124 games that were played at Notre Dame for four seasons.
4 – Washington Mystics: Kiki Iriafen, South California
The 6-foot-3 attacker was a star in Stanford before she spent her last season at USC. They on average 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds with the Trojan horses. Iriafen de Hief on her game when Juju Watkins went down with an ACL, causing USC to help the elite eight.
5 – Golden State Valkyries: Joze Jocyte, Lithuania
The 6-foot Jocyten showed its scoring skills with a 22-point effort against Belgium in the Eurobasket qualifications. She is a versatile player who can play every waiting position. She is really effective on the pick-and-roll with toughness and foundation skills that are printed for subsubs, Wendt 20 on November 19.
6 – Washington Mystics: Georgia Amore, Kentucky
Amore is a 5-foot-6 guard with a lot of experience, starting 155 of 157 games over five college seasons. Amore on average 19.6 points and 6.9 assists for Kentucky this season after switching from Virginia Tech, where she spent her first four seasons. She comes from Ballarat, Victoria, in Australia.
7 – Connecticut Sun: Aneesah Morrow, LSU
The 6-foot-1 attacker led the nation in Double-Double when she had an average of 18.7 points and 13.5 recovers a match. She is second in that category for a caeer, behind only Oklahoma Great Courtney Paris, with more than 100 in her career with her last two seasons at LSU after playing her first two in Depaul. The inhabitant of Chicago, you need toughness and nose for basketball.
8 – Connecticut Sun: Saniya Rivers, NC State
The 6-foot-1 attacker comes from a season in which she was an all-accord first team for a second consecutive year and also Atlantic Coast Conference All-Defensive Team. She helped the Wolfpack to lead to the last four in Leiden last season. Rivers helped South Carolina to win her first year the National Championship 2022 before he switched. Rivers on average 11.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists this last season, with all 35 games. She is also a good defender average, 1.3 blocks and 1.6 steals.
9 – Los Angeles Sparks: Sarah Ashlee Barker, Alabama
Finished her university career by scoring a school record 45 points in the 111-108 Double overtime loss of Alabama for Maryland in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Her first two seasons were spent in Georgia for the first time. The 6-foot guard, from Birmingham, is the daughter of Jay Barker, who was Quarterback Alabama to the 1992 University Football Championship.
10 – Chicago Sky: Ajsa Sivka, Slovenia
Sivka has a size at 6-foot-4, making it a difficult matchup. She is also another European that will not be on November 23, 20 20 November. SIVKA is a multilevel scoring scores with an efficient shot-made capacity. She earned more than 42% of the 3-point line.
11 – Chicago Sky: Hailey van Lith, TCU

The 5-foot-10 resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a double all-accord first team player. James played in 105 consecutive games to end her career at NC State. She closed her career with an average career high 17.9 points per match. She also grabbed an average of 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 Steals, starting 34 of 35 games. James shot on average 44.5% of the floor, 33.3% from 3-point range and 75% with the free this line.
