Aaron Rodgers broke his silence on Thursday and appeared on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show”.
So what is the deal with the free agent and four -time NFL MVP?
“I am open for everywhere and confirmed to nothing. Retirement can still be a possibility,” said Rodgers Thursday.
Rodgers confirms that he has spoken with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants in the last two months, while he says he has personal matters that have played a role in him who has not yet signed a contract.
He did not announce the intention of playing for a specific team or retirement, as well as that the coming NFL concept of 2025 would not affect his decision.
Rodgers was released with the franchise last month after two years by the New York Jets. Last season, Rodgers was 3,897 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, 11 interceptions and 90.5 passer-rating, while 63% of his passes completed what was a 5-12 season for the jets.
Would the Pittsburgh Steelers be better off with Sheders Sanders or Aaron Rodgers?

Rodgers, a four-fold all-pro and 10 times pro-bowler, brought the first 18 seasons to the last 15 as starter of his career at the Green Bay Packers before spending the previous two seasons with the jets.
Regarding the Rodgers teams with whom you have spoken, the Giants have signed veteran Quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, who probably ends the interest in signing the 41-year-old Rodgers. The Steelers gathered with Quartback Mason Rudolph, but could still select a quarterback with the NO. 21 Pick in next week’s design, while the Vikings are committed to 2024 first round concept choice JJ McCarthy as their starting quarterback for the next new season.
The NFL design of 2025 is 24-26 April.
