The PGA Tour had a noisy few weeks when Rory Mcilroy won the Masters and Justin Thomas won the RBC heritage (a characteristic event). That Bie players with tons of fans have been added to the situation, JT even let the media rounds follow and listened to how he has an absurd amount of lifelong aces, and a bit more is that they each won them after renovation to do this.
Rory brought Justin Rose in Augusta, while Thomas Andrew Novak stood in the city of Harbor. Only from the four Gufers in question, Andrew Novak still has to record to win during the tour. It goes without saying that this has probably made a heavy pill in the play -off to swallow.
To his credit Novak you immediately got Bunck back and through two rounds in the Zurich classic in New Orleans, his partner Ben Griffin is second. If Novak’s duo were to win, he would of course do that the week after the play -off.
It is interesting that it has been up to minute since a tour player lost an event in a play -off and immediately won the week. This is clear for a specific series of circumstances that do not happen too often, but if you are curious about who it was … It was Patrick Cantlay in 2022.
What is even more interesting about this exact phenomenon is that it was Exact phenomenon. In 2022 the situation was identical for Cantlay as it is currently for Novak. Cantlay lost the RBC heritage heritage in a play against Jordan Spieth before winning in New Orleans with Xander Schauffele as his partner. What a coincidence!
Perhaps Andrew Novak can follow in the footsteps that is classified. We’ll see.
