Joe Flacco is back at the Cleveland Browns.
After spending the 2024 season with the Indianapolis Colts, Flacco recently closed a year to collect with the browns, with whom he spent the 2023 season.
What will the role of Flacco be next season? Is the starting quarterback or the back -up?
“I don’t think there is any expectation who exactly will be the starting quarterback,” said Flacco on Wednesday morning in an interview with ESPN Cleveland. “So, you know, I am excited to get to that room and show that I have a lot of football for me and a kind of scholarship part of the team and do my best to deliver all those things – just like you would always like you to be a kind of com in a new situation and want to be the man.”
With Deshaun Watson, the entire season of 2025 expects to miss because of torn Achilles, FLACCO and Kenny Pickett form the Quarterback room of Cleveland; The browns acquire Picytt, on 2022 first round Concept Pick from the Pittsburgh Steelers with 25 career NFL-Starts, from the Philadelphia Eagles for Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth round concept pick in Mar.
Regarding the 40-year-old Flacco, he made six starts and appeared in eight games for the Colts last season. In the aforementioned games, the veteran has reached 1,761 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions and 90.5 passer -rating, while he compared 65.3% of his passes.
Flacco started five games in the regular season for the browns in 2023 in the aftermath of Watson who rose a seasonal shoulder injury earlier in the season, with the team with Flacco in the middle. For those five games, Flacco was 1,616 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions and 90.2 passer-rating, while he was able to earn 60.3% of his passes and Cleveland to earn to the Wildcard-Ligplaats. Flacco litigated to have a one-year deal with the Colts in the Offson after the loss of Cleveland’s Wild-Card Round for the Houl Texans.
What should the Cleveland Browns do with the number 2 -pick?
While Pckett and Flacco are probably no. 1 and 2 on the Quarterback -depth card, the browns still have no. 2 Pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, as well as the No. 33 Pick. One of those two choices can possibly be used on Quarterback (Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders at number 2? Alabama’s Jalen Milroe at no. 33?).
Rugardless of whom the browns take a quarterback, FLACCO is Bullish at 2025.
“I love football. I still have the feeling that I can do it at a peak would be a economical thing I would regret,” said Flacco. “And the too, I have five children at home, and I have to get away from them, you know, a bit.”
The browns come from the 3-14 season that saw their attack last in the NFL in scoring (15.2 points per match) and 28th in total yards (300.8 total yards per match).
