Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain entered the Champions League quarter final second legs on Tuesday with several goal leads about Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa respectively. Both should go quiet.

Dortmund and Villa started to swing instead. After the openers away from home last week, the two underdogs that BH won for Esir won his own support on Tuesday-shower, it was not enough to avert in the two-game, total goals of the goals.

Barça is confronted with Eithher Bayern Munich or Inter Milan in the Semis, where PSG records the winner of the other quarter -finals decision -maker between Arsenal and defending champion Real Madrid.

Here are three fast takeways of Tuesday’s answers.

The epic comeback from Aston Villa is just short

Down 3-1 on AGGGATE After he had set up a last-minute goal in France, the players of Unai Emery had demolished their work for them prior to the Rematch in Villa Park.

So when PSG jumped to a 2-0 lead on Tuesday on goals from Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes for half an hour, the outcome was almost certain.

That was the case, even after Villaed one back for the break. Two more goals two minutes apart in the second half created an exciting final. The hosts eventually won 3-2, and they came unbearably close to sending the series to extra time:

Although Villa did not get closer, they did themselves and their fans on Tuesday. They have the entire season. Emery has built a dot in Birmingham, and there is no reason that his team can no longer return to the world’s most important club tournament next year. Villa is only one point from the last place with six Premier League matches left. Bet against them for your danger.

Barcelona stored by a big first stage

Barça’s lead was an even more crooked 4-0 after last week’s routes in Catalonia. Dortmund then had to kick herself, which with the yellow wall firmly behind them in the decision maker.

It was quite a lot of, for example, the opening whistle, without Serhou Guirassy who noted a hat trick before everything was said and done:

The only count of the visits came to defend Dortmund’s own goal Ramy Bensebaini against the Run of Play. It was still not enough. The 3-1 victory only brought the hosts within two from Hansi Flick’s side, who comfortably advanced 5-3 to total.

Two more no quarterfinals on Wednesday

Real Madrid is confronted almost as steep to climb as Dortmund, the team they have thought to win their record 15th European title last spring. Still, after the results of Tuesday, to magical reversal sems a little more plausible.

In the meantime, Inter Milan welcomes Bayern Munich in Italy, which leads it 2-1 at the center point of the series. Still good at stitching -underneath, in other words.
