Commanders 7-round mock draft: How will a Super Bowl contender fill in the gaps?

Every commanders Zeven-Contract Mock Draft must start with a recognition that Washington has already been busy with his concept choices, where general manager Adam Peters quickly shows himself as an active trader.

Washington sent a third round pick to Houston as part of a package to get Tackle Laremy Tunnsil and to feel fifth to San Francisco for recipient Debo Samuel, and this was after sending third, fourth and sixth round Picks to New Orleans for Cornline Dadline. Other choices have come and gone in other deals, but the net results are three new starters on key positions without touching the top two choices of Washington in this design.

It is remarkable how far the commanders came in a year of 4-13 and the second in the 2024 Draft is to select Quarterback Jayden Daniels, go 12-5 and win two play-off games. Only six teams have better opportunities to win Super Bowl LX, so this concept is about tackling needs in a team that does not have much striking.

First round, 29th General: Edge Donovan Ezeiruaku” Boston College

Edge is at the intersection of the post management of Washington and the best department at the top of this design, that is, the commanders can get the sixth or seventh edge of the board and can still get an impact of Roakie. Losing Dante Fowler to the Cowboys in Free Agency created an immediate need, but this is also a position in which Washington has little developmental talent vary.

Will eziruaku-it look like, but will a proneced “EZZ-AH-RAH-KOO” Temon strip on No. 29? We will say yes, but this Coul is Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr. Or Nic Scourton from Texas A&M. Ezeiruaku expressed last season with 16.5 bags and you have a ridiculous 82-inch span, which helps to compensate for an unusually short frame on 6-foot-2. If he is the seventh edge that is taken in the first round, that would be a shortage of the most in the past decade, because there were eight in 2017.

Second round, 61st General: CB Darien Porter” Iowa State

Is second -year Pro Mike Sainristil better off the outsiside or at Nickel? Eithher Way, the commanders can use the sub-size on the outside opposite Latimore, and the 6-foot-3 porter fits nicely with that invoice. I have a converted recueller with a limited starter experience on the defense, so it would be ok if Porter did not have to be every down borhoek immediately. He will also bring value to special teams, with four blocked points and a blocked field goal at the university. Moreover, I drove 4.30 40 with the mowing porter.

Fourth Round, 128th General: T Cameron Williams” Texas

By adding Tunsil, the commanders have to shift the third-rounder of last year, Brandon Coleman, to Right Tackle, giving them an opening for a developmental fluctuation. Williams is dangerous raw, with only one year of starter experience, but his size (6-foot-6, 317 pounds) and long reach will give coaches a lot to work physically. You rarely find an impact starter late in the fourth round, but this is a good value and the summer competence with school for a runway over a year from now on.

Sixth round, 205th General: LB Jay Higgins” Iowa

Washington used two late round picks on Linebackers Jordan Magee and Dominique Hampton last year, so there is sub-redundancy here, but Bobby Wagner will be 35 in June, so it’s OK to have multiple options after he is ready. Higgins is a production about man. I have 4,82 40 with the mowing porter and his frame is closer to that of an NFL safety, but he had 171 tackles as a junior to lead the nation and four interceptions as a senior, so there are coverage skills to compensate for speed problems. If there is a sixth round pick, an impact on special teams is, Higgins can also fill that part of it.

Seventh round, 245th General: RB Marcus -Garens” Delaware

A little local taste here – played yarns in Delaware and comes from Maryland, and he can help Washington as a versatile backup when I walk back. It is smaller (5-foot-11, 193) but ran a 4.45 40 and on average better than six meters per Carry in each of his last three college seasons, with 11 revening touchdowns too. Can success at Small School Delaware translate to the NFL? If only as an additional back that could help with the return, do yarens do Entrough things to have a good chance of staying on the roster as a seventh-rounder.
