There are only sums that you do not do as an NFL team -the number of a legendary franchise player is given to a Rookie. That is exactly what the Falcons did this week, with the number 11 from Julio Jones to Jalon Walker, who took the first round atlanta.
Although it is fair to note that Walker simply retains the song that he was wearing in Georgia, this also feels so wrong.
It is unclear whether Jones will ever come to Canton. The threshold for Reiversive to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame is unfairly high, and he is currently in 16th place in receiving yards, behind Steve Smith SR, Reggie Wayne and Anquan Boldin Die all hope. Yet Jones is by far the Falcons of all time leading recipient and the organization left only five years ago. It is ridiculous to give away his number so quickly.

Brass Tacks: Regardless of how players leave a franchise, they offer the relationship on time. Julio Jones’ Nr. 11 deserts to place in the trusses, or at least give it a solid decade before they try to hand it over to Sumone differently. This just feels disrespectful.
