Former LSU receiver, 2025 NFL Draft prospect Kyren Lacy dies at age 24

Former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy, who was confronted with criminal prosecution as a result of a fatal car accident in December, you died at the age of 24, said spokesperson for the University of Athletics on Sunday.

While the death of the LSU Athletic Department has not confronted the death of the LSU Confermcy. WAFB TV in Baton Rouge, referring to an unauthorized family member, reported that Lacy, from Thibodaux, Louisiana, died in the Houston region.

The police of Houston referred media questions to the office of the Harris County Medical Examiner, who did not immediately respond to an e -mail from the Associated Press on Sunday.

Lacy, who led LSU in touchdowns who chair with nine injuries, had declared NFL Draft for these months, but his draft stock fell his alleged involvement in an accident in a 78-year-old man in Lafourche Parish, Louisian.

Lacy would make recklessly fast and pass a non-passing zone by motorist who waved to prevent Lacy’s Dodge Charger Crashd Front-On in another vehicle.

Herman Hall from Thibodaux, Louisiana, who was involved in a frontal crash, died after transport to a hospital, according to a report from the State Police.

Authorities with the State Police Troop C in Gray, Louisiana, said that Lacy folds the scene of the accident without asking for help. Lacy was booked with negligent murder, crime hit-and-run and reckless functioning of a vehicle.

Lacy played last season in 12 games for LSU and became second in the team in Catches with 58 and Yards Review with 866.

I declared only a few days after the accident for the NFL design and did not play in LSU’s victory over Baylor in the Texas Bowl on December 31.
