The Cubs dominated the Diamondbacks, 7-1, through seven innings, and apparently ran away with the game.

But then the bats of Arizona became red.

Randal Grichuk Pinch Hit for Pavin Smith and got things with a single in the left field. Josh Naylor followed that and pulled a single in the right field and Grichuk went to second place. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. The bases loaded with a third consecutive single, the Eugenio Suarez knew them with one swing.

Suarez hit a belt-high Fastball 458 foot and spacious over the wall of midfield to turn it into a 7-5 ball game.

After Gabriel Moreno had committed the first from the inning, Jake McCarthy took a walk to put the draw on the plate. Alek Thomas Pinch hit for Garrett Thompson and hit a single in the left field, where McCarthy went to second place. The bases filled again after Gerardo Perdomo had hit a groundball until the second base for Infield Single.

The line-up turned around when Grichuk came forward and a ball hit the line, under the glove of the third base man and in the left field for dubiling the base clothing to give Arizona a lead.

Naylor took a walk for his second atms of the inning, before Gurriel crushed a slider that was left in the zone over the fence in the Left Middenveld.

The 10-run inning of the Diamondbacks was the highest scoring frame this season and it set them at 11-7. However, the Cubs had an answer.

Bryce Jarvis stuged with his command to start the lower half of the eighth, with Nico Hoerner and the walking Pete Crow-Armstrong on four throws.

Then Carson Kelly kept his great season alive and hit his second home run of the afternoon to bring the Cubs into one.

After Justin Turner had hit, Ian Happ hit a single by Joe Mantipy, who had just replaced Jarvis. The hit of Happs meant that Kyle Tucker means the go-ahead run on the plate. Tucker took the first throw of his battle over the right fet for the fourth combined home of the inning.

However, the Cubs were not ready, because Seiya Suzuki made the back-to-back and filled the Chicago’s lead with a solo shot. His explosion marked the 16th run of the inning, most in a competition on the historic Wigley Field, which has been organizing Cubs games since 1916.

The Cubs loaded the bases again, but Crow-Armstrong spread and Kelly exclaimed to end the second to end the collection. Their 13-11 benefit was enough when Ryan came in Presy and the salvation received in the first half of the ninth.

With the victory, the Cubs improved in the season to 12-9 and are in the first place in the National League Central, while the Diamondbacks 12-8 and in fourth place in the loaded NL West.

More offensive fireworks can play his Asse two teams in the weekend two games, both with first throws at 2.20 pm
