Memphis secured the eighth seed of the Western Conference and will open against the best placed Oklahoma City in a best-of-seven series that starts on Sunday at Thunder’s home field.

Morant did more than just play. I delivered to the exciting start that included High -flying, with one hand slam of a dunk Teammate Desmond Bane had that “Showtime!” Screaming. To him in the celebration when Morant raised so that his eyes were the same with the edge.

Morant was injured in Golden State on Tuesday evening in the play-in opener of the Grizzlies and was doubtful to play on Friday.

“I couldn’t feel it … so I was there,” Morant said laughing.

Anthony Davis led Dallas with 40 points and nine reboubs. Klay Thompson had 18 points.

Davis stumbled in the fourth quarter with what seemed to be a correct calf injury. I briefly returned, but I didn’t finish the game.

Memphis saw a 25-point first half ahead that melted away in the third quarter when the Mavericks made on 27-12 run about rest. That the shortage of the Mavericks to break halfway through the third.

The Grizzlies stretched the lead back to 96-80 on the way to the last quarter and Dallas never endangered the rest of the road.

The Mavericks closed the first half with eight straight points to cut it to 66-49.

Davis had 22 in half, while Morant had 16 points for Memphis.

Dallas, who defeated Sacramento 120-106 on Wednesday evening to earn a place against the Grizzlies, did not seem to have the same spark to start the game, never leading against Memphis.

Davis did his bit to make Dallas’s attack, but Memphis prevented with balanced score.

Zach Edey had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Memphis and Scotty Pips Jr. scored 13 points.
