The Boston Celtics took an impressive 2-0 lead on Wednesday in their first round series with the Orlando Magic, but not without tackling subbultjes and bruises, or in Kristaps Porzingis’ Case, Gashes.
Porzingis went to the dressing room with a slice on his forehead, but returned to shoot a few free throws after taking an elbow from Goga Bitadze of the magic in the third quarter of Game 2 of Boston’s first round Playoff-Matchup with Orlando on Wednesday evening.
Porzingis and Bitadze bone for a rebound and Bitadze Caugt Caugt in the head on the ground with 55 seconds over in the quarter. A video review of civil servants stipulated that Bitadze had arrived and had put his elbow in Porzingis, and he had switched to a flagrant mistake.
During the review, Porzingis came from the dressing room to loud ovation, with dried blood that stroke along the back of his head and on the middle of his forehead. I was re -introduced and connected to one of the two free this before I leave again.
The Celtics led 81-71 in the fourth quarter. Porzingis returned to the bank area halfway through the period.
