Last Night in Baseball: Alex Bregman powers Red Sox with 5-hit night

Baseball always happens – almost too much baseball for one person to treat himself.

That is why we are here to help search the games of the previous days and find out what you missed, but should not have that. Here are the best moments of last night in Major League Baseball:

Bregman’s 5-hit night

The Red Sox stiff to make something happen on Monday against the rays, but their second night in Tampa went much differently thanks to the third Honkman Alex Bregman. Bregman hit 5-out-5 at night with a few homers, rode in four rons and scored two more in a competition that won the SOX 7-4.

To give his performance that little extra subject, this was the last game that Bregman played before his paternity leave started on Wednesday. Should his teammates not receive a gift in this situation and not the other way around?

Soderstrom is expanding its MLB lead of the Home Run, twice

Tyler Soderstrom had a rough debut in the Majors at the age of 21 in 2023, as a result of which an eye opening for the wrong reasons-on 34 of 34 in 45 games with athletics. His 61 game return in 2024 did much better, with the combination of first baseman/catcher a well Boven-Aege .233/.315/.429 hit nine nine gays in 61 games. And now, in 2025, it seems that it has arrived: Sodeteterstrom Bashed to a few dingers in Tuesday’s action against the Chicago White Sox, so he eight for only 17 games for the year.

The power of nodeterstrom is legitimate, and when it is finally ready for Major League, the A’s line-up goes a little differently than expected.

Watch out!

You have to wonder if Erick Fedde even realized that he would have this line drive or not. The piece is exceptional Eithher manier, but finding out if you have searched for Fedde Sumhow and in it the double game succeeds, is half the pleasure to watch this game.

It feels like he knew right away! Butars He dice things a bit in a way that makes you wonder if he surprised himself. Eithher Way, he recovered and the St. Louis Cardinals had to place one about the Houston Astros. Anyway, at least, because the ‘Sto’s eventually won 2-0.

To make perfectly legal doubles

The double game of Fedde may have the most impressive of the evening, but the one that is changed by the Tigers against the Brewers is easily the weirdest. You just have to see it yourself:

It all looks like a routine – a buncing ground ball, thrown in the beginning and thrown to second – until anything but. The exact rebound of the ball from the back of a runner and then undergoing in the glove, and it all happens on time to be one instead of a safe call in second place? It would be difficult to do that on purpose, but it happened anyway.

Players celebrate Jackie Robinson Day

Because Tuesday was Jackie Robinson Day, there were quite few parties around the competition in honor of his legacy of ending segregation in the MLB competition in 1947 by taking the field as a black man – and the stay there for another 10 years, regardless of the opinion of the society of society.

The whole “The number 42 on April 15” ritual to honor Robinson Started with a playerKen Griffey Jr., who takes on it to do this, with more players who participated in later years until it became the norm for MLB. So you have the second Honkman Jazz Chishholm Jr. Van Yankees appreciate, also to wear his baseball pants Jackie Robinson style on April 15, to go with the number 42 at the back of his sweater.

In the meantime, the Los Angeles Dodgers wore their Brooklyn hats for the same reason.

The Dodgers also released video that reflected on the day in 2025, with performances by not only a team, but their opponnts for the evening, the Colorado Rockies, as well as manager Dave Roberts who gave a speech, and Los Angeles Lekende Kareem Abdul-Jabar also spoke.

Roberts would also say, via mlb.comThat in honor of Jackie Robinson and his estate should be more than just one day a year, while Abdul-Jabar described him as one of his heroes. That is energy that is worth taking the world today.
