LIV Golf Mexico City: Legion XIII has strong Round 3 to rally for the win

Sub of the biggest names of the Liv Golf League set up a show in the final round of Liv Golf Mexico City, but it was Joaquin Nieman who eventually claimed the individual title on Sunday at Club de Golf Chapultepec, while Legion XIII held to win the team title.

Couple GC captain Niemann started the two shots behind leader Bryson Dechambeau, but he accused the leaderboard on Sunday to end up at 16 and claimed his third victory in six etching this season.

In the last group, Niemann played with Deschambeau and Cameron Smith and Kaarden seven Birdies and only a single bogey for a final round, 6-end 65. The victory holds him firmly in the lead for the seasonal individual championship race, in which Jon Rahm.

Niemann ended three shots for Ripper GC’s Lucas Herbert, who came out of nowhere with the last contract, 10-down 61-type the course record during the trial, and Decchambeau, that on Sunday a 70 card cards.

Legion XIII won the Team Competition Evite with the day five shots of the leadership held by Ripper GC, but they quickly made the ground and finally finished at 28 under and Ripper GC (26 under), that ended in second, and 4aces GC (21 Under) Podium in third place.

It is a fast tornaround for Liv Golf, with the Global Golf League directly on its way to the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in South Korea for Liv Golf Korea, 2-4 April.

Team scores

The new score format from Liv Golf this season now all four scores that are now counted in the team competition in every round. Here are the final results and scores for each team after Sway’s round 3 of Liv Golf Mexico City.
