Milos Kerkez transfer news: Liverpool increasingly confident of signing Bournemouth left-back | Football News

Liverpool is becoming increasingly confident in signing Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.

The South-Coast Club has set a price tag of approximately £ 40 million for the 21-year-old left back, who has left on his contract for three years.

Kerkez is supposed to be enthusiastic about the movement and the personal term is not expected to be a problem.

Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, with a deal valued around £40 million. The 21-year-old Hungarian international has agreed to the move, positioning himself as a long-term successor to Andy Robertson, whose contract expires in 12 months.

Kerkez has impressed during the 2024/25 Premier League season, playing every match and contributing two goals and five assists, aiding Bournemouth’s ninth-place finish. His performances have attracted attention from top clubs, including Real Madrid

Liverpool’s pursuit is bolstered by the presence of sporting director Richard Hughes, who previously signed Kerkez for Bournemouth. Additionally, Kerkez’s relationship with fellow Hungarian and Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai may influence his decision.

While some reports suggested Kerkez had dismissed the idea of joining Liverpool earlier this year, recent developments indicate a change in stance, with personal terms agreed and the transfer nearing completion.

This potential signing aligns with Liverpool’s broader strategy to rejuvenate their squad, following the acquisition of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and ongoing interest in Florian Wirtz.
