Neil Shipley wins first Korn Ferry Tour event

The world of Golf never stops taking epic storylines.

Less than a week after Rory Mcilroy won last year’s low amateur against Augusta’s annual outing, Quito made the name for himself.

Neil Shipley, also the low amateur at Let Year’s US Open, won his first professional event in the Lecom Suncoast Classic in Florida on Saturday. It cost five playoff holes, but Neil can officially say that he is a winner on a professional tour.

“Yes, that last putt was a long putt, but absolutely just a relief. Of course I had to try to click back in him that he would make his putt, but eleven his deadly k, that was great. Pumped to win my Corth here, a lot. Yes, we have built up this year, so super excited about the work we did.”

Shipley defined Seungtaek Lee in the play-off of five holes and was pretty excited, Obioulny, with the rest in his direction. It is always great to see that emerging players formally announce themselves, but Neil became a bit of a favorite with fans during last year’s Masters Tournament and in the aftermath because his journey in season 3 was from Netflix’s Full swing.

As noted, Shipley was the low amateur during the event, but after he made the cut, he also played to play the weekend. One of the most striking parts of his Masters experience was that he was linked to Tiger Woods for the last round of Sunday.

Saturday’s results were an important step in the career of Shipley. I have numbers to be Topody that will be the professional circuit for a while.

Players who end in the top 20 of the Korn Ferry Tour deserve the status of the following season on the PGA Tour, so unnecessary to say that this was an important victory for Shipley.

“We are only going to let the Golf take care of itself. Worried.”

Congratulations to Neil Shipley!
