One of the greatest stories of the NFL design of 2025 – or: the biggest story if your name Mel Kiper Jr. IS – was the unprecedented fall of Colorado Quarterback Shedersur Sanders. The reasons behind his slide of the projected first round pick until day 3 are manife, but it led to many debates and memes.
It also led to one of the forgetful moments of the concept: Sanders review a joke on Thursday evening of a person -to be New Orleans Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis.
It appears that the person involved indeed had connections with the NFL: it was they are from Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich. Jax Ulbrich issues a statement about the incident on Sunday.
“Sheedeur, what I did was unforgivable,” was the explanation (with the original relaxing first name of Sanders). “I’m so sorry I removed your moment, it was selfish and childish.”
In a video that circulated on social media, the Prank Caller was experienced as Loomis and Sanders mislead to believe that he was about to be drawn up.
“It’s a long wait, man,” he said. “We are going to take you with our next choice, man, but you will have to wait a little longer, man. Sorry for that.”
In addition to Sanders, the new Indianapolis Colts ends tight end Tyler Warren Siday, which he also foreseen to joke during the design.
Questions about the origin of the Sanders call were immediately created in view of the fact that the phone that Sanders used was one, which number was only spent on a handful of NFL managers. The first speculation on social media was wrongly accused the daughter of the New York Giant GM Joe Schoen, who was not involved in the case.
The Falcons also releases a statement on Sunday.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team will not take action against his defensive coordinator. However, they will assess their protocols to find out how Sanders has gained the telephone number in the possession of Jax Ulbrich.
Project as a potential pick in the first round that led to the event, Sanders remained on the board until the Cleveland Browns chose him 144th in round 5.
