There have been many creative, ionic and legendary renders of the Star Spangled Banner in history – but nothing Quito such as the Korea Town Senior Center Center that performs with Harmonic.
This is how the Los Angeles Kings opened their Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers, and it was surreal. With no one to sing the lyrics, the audience took over the role and accompanied the team of Harmonica players for an unforgettable performance.
You can see from the crowd that there are certainly more than a few people who have no idea what to make of it. They extend on the border between trying to stay patriotic and crack with laughter. It is also unclear why the kings decided This Must be the anthem for their home opener – but we are certainly happy that they have decided to do completely unique.
I don’t know if anyone will try to replicate this. Or if they even have to.
