The Los Angeles Rams will have their selections in the next 2025 NFL design of the Los Angeles Fire Department Air Operations Base in Van Nuys Los Angeles fire brigade in the Los Angeles fire brigade to honor the first responds who have destroyed the deadly forest fires who destroyed South California earlier this year.
The RAMS converts a room in the Air Operations Complex to serve as the design head office for general director Les Snead and Coach Sean McVay, while an adjacent hangar is occupied by scouts and coaches during the three -day design next week. The basis remains fully operational during the visit of the Rams.
“Preparing Lafd Air Operations is a powerful memory of what it means to represent Los Angeles,” said Rams President Kevin Demoff. “Since the forest fires destroyed our region in January, we have looked at it to bring it together to help with the recovery efforts, the spirits of those who were affected and shine a slight on our first reaction. Biggest moments to express gratitude for those who risk their lives every day to protect our city.”
The rams also renew the recreation room at the Air Operations Base, as a result of which recoliners and other improvements leave behind the resting areas of the firefighters. About 150 First Responders from the entire region will meet McVay, Demoff and other RAM managers on day 2 of the design.
The forest fires had a significant impact on the Rams franchise. The training complex of the team in the Woodland Hills district in Los Angeles was within a few kilometers from the Kenneth Fire in the west side of the San Fernando -Valley, and SUM players and team staff had to evacuate their houses as a precaution.
The fires were on their worse during the week before the start of the NFL season. The resulting smoke pollution and tension on public resources forced the competition to move the Wildcard round home game of the Rams against Minnesota to Glendale, Arizona.
The Rams say they have donated almost $ 2 million to create lighting. They have also organized distribution events for evacuated families, staged football clinics for students affected by the fires and sold merchandise with the Lafd logo to support the fire brigade and the American Red Cross.
“The hosting of the NFL design at Lafd Air Operations emphasizes the crucial role that our Air Operations Division plays in the protection of Los Angeles, especially during the natural fire season,” said interim fire commander Ronnie Villanueva. “The generosity of the rams – the renovation of our station and the collection of our firefighters – shows a deep dedication to the city that we all serve.”
In 2021, the rams started a tradition of moving the design head office to a symbolic location in the Los Angeles area. After setting up camp in a Malibu Beach Mansion for four years of APHRA, the team you have spoken, operations by Lark Homes in the Hollywood Hills, Tarzana and Hermosa Beach.
