Ryan Ramczyk will announce the New Orleans Saints’ Day 2 choices during the NFL design of 2025 next week, but now he will do this as a former player. On Thursday evening the right Tackle made another announcement: his retirement of the NFL.

“What an incredible journey it was,” wrote Ramczyk on social media. “My path to the NFL was not a straight line, it was expected, but it ended an example where you meant.

“Today I am thinking about all the twists and tours that brought me so far, from Technical University to the Beurs a ‘welder’ to all-pro in the NFL. While I retire, I am filled with gratitude for the eventing of this sport that I gave me.”

The saints set up Ramczyk in 2017 with the final choice of the first round. He started with the start all 16 games that season at the right Tackle and became one of the most important members, together with Cornerback Marshon Lattimore and Alvin Kamara ran back from the immediate successful Rookie class of New Orleans.

Ramczyk was later appointed three straight all-pro teams from 2018-2020, including the first team Knik in 2019. Although he started all 101 regular seasonal competitions in which he helped, Ramczyk’s last years in the NFL were limited scholars of injury. In fact, he missed the entire season of 2024 because of a persistent knee problem.

Yet the 30-year-old did not regret his career.

“I owe a huge thanks to the football game, and to the countless coaches and teammates who have supported and challenged me along the way,” he wrote.

As Ramczyk noted, his journey to the NFL took various turns en route. He played a short division II football at Winona State University before taking a break of football to study. I returned to the field at the III University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point division, where he was played for two seasons. In 2016 I switched to Wisconsin and I became an all-American in his only season with the badgers.

“I am enthusiastic about what the future has in store, especially the chance to spend more time with my two boys and see them grow. I look forward to this next chapter in life and I am grateful forever. Whoever for life,” I went on.

Ramczyk spent his complicated NFL career with the saints.
