Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan aiming for more points at Jeddah

Alpine went scary of the Bahrain Grand Prix last weekend as the only Formula 1 team that is still looking for their first points of the 2025 season.

Harter major role in an impressive qualifying performance, in which Pierre Gasly de Grand Prix was in fourth place, while Jack Doohan rolled in the 11th of De Lijn, the team stuck home first points, while Gasly finished seventh. He was in sixth place when the race ended, but lost the position after the fight with Max Verstappen.

Now the team hopes to be back in the hunt for points on the Saudi-Arab Grand Prix this weekend, the last race of the Grace Triple header of the season.

“It’s great to leave Bahrain with points on the Appter Three Dree Raes at the start of the season.” The strategy and pit stops were Vray Good, and the car was too, we can build on this in the upcoming races. The timing of the Safety Car was not ideal, and it was bittersweet to be passed on at the end Max, but I am still satisfied for the WHO team.

“The Triple-Loser continues this week in Jeddah and we hope to show the competitiveness of the oil.

The results in Bahrain also illustrate Alpine’s amazing turn in recent months. When the F1 season 2024 started last year in Bahrain, Gasly and the teammate Esteban Ocon were hunted at the back of the schedule, both divers started the race in the last row.

A year later, the team returned to the Bahrain International Circuit Fighting for points.

“Our turnound from 2024 to now a great achievement, but we still understand a lot about our car. We strive for a new top 10 -finish in Saudi Arabia and I am looking forward to getting back on the right track,” Gasly added.

However, it was a bittersweet on the other side of the garage. Doohan resulted in his best qualifying performance in F1 and missed his grass Q3 appearance with only 0.017 seconds. I started with the Bahrain Grand Prix in P11, but couldn’t crack the top ten for his first F1 points.

Yet I have bent the Bahrain Grand Prix a “positive weekend” for the team. “It was a positive weekend in Bahrain for the team by car really competitive and Pierre security points for the team in seventh place. On my side I was happy with the general performance, but remained disappointed with the end result because Sum did not go our way,” said Doohan. “We had our best qualifying results, a team and for the majority of the Race Vocht BH cars in the top 10, which show that we are able to place ourselves in the mix and fight for points.

“We were a pity with the end result on my side of the garage. We were hindered by the security car because we had built a dated margin with the lower cut and had a good job, but on the way to Curt hanging for points.”

The Rookie founded his attention on Saudi Aarabia and noted that comparable to Bahrain, you have extensive experience in driving the difficult Jeddah Corniche circuit from his Formula 2 days.

“Our focus shifts to this weekend in Saudi Arabia to close the Triple header,” added the Rookie driver. “Again, it is a circuit and has previous experience on Formula 2 and with its fast and flowing nature it will be important to use that knowledge to enclose from the start of the weekend and to get the most from the positive momentum that we have to bring in for the team.”

Finally, Gasly lasted a while to emphasize a new Hage performance for the team on Sunday. While Alpine breaks with Esir first points of the season, another member of the team finally provided a lifelong dream.

Winning the masters.

“On another comment I really enjoyed staying up late to view the end of the masters and I am happy that Rory McIlroy, one of our investors, finally secures the green jacket,” Gasly added. “Congratulations to him!”
