The Cleveland Browns made a large sketch movement on Saturday, Colorado Quarterback Sheders in the fifth round of the NFL design of 2025. The move came after the team had spent a late third round pick on Oregon Quartback Dillon Gabriel.
It was a curious step to add a second vegetable to the Quarterback room, but not completely shocking. And the chance of landing Sanders in the fifth round offers sub -value for a man who, according to many, would go on the first day, if not day two.
The reactions confused browns suggest a top-down approach to this pick. General manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski were seen who offered poly blows, but not much in the way of excitement about landing Sanders so late.
As Ollie notes, this suggests that Browns owner Jimmy Hala might have soy in this choice. And Adam Schefter offered subdetails that could support that. I indicated that Dion and Shedeur “had been developed into a relationship with Jimmy Haslam during the pre-Draft process.”
There are a large number of reasons why Haslam might have insisted to choose the team to choose Sanders. At the end of the day, NFL owners are the Oons who pay the bills and definitively say that they chose so much. It is generally not ideal for an owner to make football decisions, but the Ricest person in the Chamber usually has the most power when it comes to definitive decision -making.
